MAMMAL
LAB
TRACEY ROGERS
I’m interested in understanding how mammals overcome the challenges of living within changing environments across evolutionary and historical timescales as well as patterns seen in contemporary times.
I’m interested in understanding the trade-offs between physiology, life history and environment balanced against phylogeny and past history. Of particular interest is how the movement of mammals back into the marine environment altered: physiology, predator-prey relationships, communication systems, spatial patterns and disease ecology.
